Customer feedback

Customer feedback that stays private

Your testimonial form also asks for honest feedback. Low ratings and private notes go straight to your team, so you hear about problems while you can still fix them.

How it works

One form, two kinds of answers

Customers answer the question that fits their experience.

  1. 1

    The customer rates you

Every form starts with a one-tap star rating, so even a busy customer gives you a signal.

  2. 2

    The form follows the rating

A rating of 1 to 3 stars asks what went wrong. A rating of 4 or 5 asks for a testimonial, with an optional private note at the end.

  3. 3

    Feedback reaches your team

Low ratings and private notes land on their own Feedback page in your dashboard, separate from your testimonials.

In your dashboard

Every piece of feedback in one list

Low ratings and private notes are kept apart from your testimonials, so feedback never slips onto your website by accident.

Low rating

Sorry we missed the mark

Onboarding took longer than we were told. Nobody followed up after the first call, so we had to chase the next steps ourselves.

Anything else you would like to share?

Love the product. The invoices could show our VAT number though, our accountant keeps asking for it.

Low rating

Sorry we missed the mark

Good work overall, but the final invoice was higher than the quote and we only found out at the end.

What you get

Collect customer feedback without a survey tool

Everything below is on the Free plan.

Low-rating follow-up

Customers who rate 1 to 3 stars get one open question about what went wrong, written in your words.

Private notes

Happy customers can add something only your team will read, like a feature request or a small complaint.

One feedback page

All customer feedback in one list, with the rating, the answer, who sent it and when.

Filter by type

Switch between low ratings and private notes to see complaints and suggestions separately.

Know who to follow up with

Feedback shows the name and company the customer entered, so you can reach out and fix the problem.

Same link as your testimonials

No second survey to send. The testimonial form collects both, from one shareable link.

FAQ

Customer feedback questions

What is a customer feedback tool?

A customer feedback tool collects what customers think about your product or service and puts it in one place for your team. Testimoon collects private feedback in the same form you use for testimonials, so one link gives you both.

Is customer feedback collection free?

Yes. Low-rating follow-ups, private notes and the Feedback page are on the Free plan, with unlimited forms and responses.

Can customer feedback end up on my website?

No. Answers from customers who rate 1 to 3 stars and private notes are only visible to your team. They cannot be added to a widget.

What should a customer feedback form ask?

Start with a quick rating, then ask one open question. For low ratings, ask what went wrong. For high ratings, ask what changed for them, and offer a private field for anything they would rather not publish.

Can I change the feedback questions?

Yes. The title and description of the low-rating step and the private note step are editable in the form editor, and the private note step can be turned off.
